Our first time getting grapes from this small Santa Ynez Valley vineyard. This wine is an homage to Natalie’s Austrian heritage and her grandmother’s maiden name “Sonnenschein” meaning Sunshine. Picked November 2nd (!), this was pressed same-day and placed in stainless steel to age for 5 months. Wildly Drinkable!

This wine has a hint of the typical petrol nose but also loads of fruit, floral, and fennel notes. The palate is bursting with tangy acidity of perhaps green apple and lime with apricot and pixie tangerine. Open this bottle alongside schnitzel with lemon juice, chicken piccata, or arugula salad.
